The house, handled

Cleaning, laundry, dishes and the tidying that piles up. Booked for when it suits you, not when a roster says so.

What this covers

Household tasks are funded where your disability makes doing them yourself unsafe or unreasonably hard. It is ordinary, everyday cleaning done properly, and it is one of the supports people most often say makes the rest of the week workable.

  • Routine cleaning and dusting
  • Vacuuming and mopping
  • Laundry, dishes and making the bed
  • Tidying and getting the house back in order
  • Cleaning with ordinary household products

What we do not do

Everything on that list needs either a licence, specialist equipment or a risk assessment nobody should be doing on the fly. A Support Partner arriving for a two hour clean is the wrong person for all of it.

  • Biohazard, infectious waste, sharps or bodily fluid cleaning
  • Hoarding, forensic or extreme cleaning
  • Mould, asbestos, pest control or work with hazardous chemicals
  • Ladders, working at height, or shifting heavy furniture
  • Repairs and trade work
  • Gardening and outdoor work, which is a separate service
  • Shopping when you are not there

What it looks like

  1. A reset before people come over

Floors, bathroom, kitchen and a general tidy, done in one booking.

  2. The laundry that got away

Washed, dried, folded and the bed remade.

  3. A standing weekly clean

Same tasks, same day, from someone who already knows the house.

How it is funded

This sits in the 0120 Household Tasks billing group, under Core supports, assistance with daily life. If you are plan managed or agency managed, we invoice your plan. If you are self managed, we invoice you.

Questions people ask

Do I need to supply the cleaning products?

Yes. The NDIS funds the support, not the consumables, so the products and equipment are yours.

Can they clean up after my pet?

Ordinary mess, yes. Anything involving bodily fluids is outside what we do.

What if something needs a ladder?

It waits for someone else. No Zoomly Support Partner works at height, and that is not negotiable on the day.

Can they do the yard while they are here?

That is a separate service and a separate booking. See home and yard assistance.
