Three ways to get there
Some days you need a lift. Some days you need someone with you. Some days you need both, and you should not have to book that twice.
A ride when you need one, not in three weeks
Accessible transport you can book on demand, with a Support Partner who is trained in disability support, actually turns up, and comes in with you when you get there.
What is broken right now
The same three things, over and over. Each one is a decision somebody made.
There is no on demand option.
Everything else wants notice. Life does not give notice.
Book it now, go now.
You book weeks ahead, or you do not go.
So spontaneity is off the table, and so is the appointment you only found out about yesterday.
See who is free today, and book them today.
The person rostered on is not there.
Cancelled, running late, or simply not on the roster the one day you needed to move.
See who else is free, today.
The vehicles
Standard sedan
Most trips. Room in the boot for a walker or a folding chair.
Wheelchair accessible
Ramp access, where an approved modified vehicle and an approved driver are available. Tell us in the booking and we only match you with someone signed off.
Assistance animal friendly
Your dog comes with you. Tell us in the booking so the right vehicle turns up.
Where we go
Right now, Penrith and the suburbs around it.
That is where you can book today. We are expanding out from there and we are moving quickly. We will name each new area the day it opens rather than guess at a month, so if you are just outside, leave us your postcode and you will hear from us first.
We are new, and we would rather say so
The app is live. We fix things as we find them and we are still adding features.
NDIS compliance is the part that stays steady while the rest moves fast. If something does not work, tell us. You will hear back from a person.
Hours
8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
That is the roster for launch. Evenings and weekends come later, and we will say so here the day they open.
Your ride has arrived. Two words that should not be this hard to get.
A Support Partner who turns up, this morning, not next fortnight
See who is available, match on what matters to you, and book. Or post a job and let the network come to you. Either way you are not waiting a fortnight to hear back.
The 8am problem
Your regular Support Partner pulls out at 8am. The day does not have to go with them. Book a fresh, trained person for the same morning, and get on with it.
Two ways to find someone
Browse and book
See who is free near you right now, read their profile, and book them yourself.
Post a job
Say what you need and when, and let the network of Support Partners come to you. Good for anything regular, or when you would rather not go looking.
Support that fits your day
Seven kinds of support, and every one of them maps to an NDIS support item, so it bills cleanly. Open any one to see exactly what it covers, and what it does not.
Community access
Outings, social support, shopping assistance
Domestic assistance
Cleaning, laundry, household chores
Transport with support
Support assisted travel, commuting
Meal preparation
Cooking, serving food, dietary needs
Personal care
Showering, dressing, hygiene
Home and yard
Lawns, weeding, sweeping
Life skills
Teaching, coaching, learning
Matching, on what matters
Tell us what matters to you and we will filter on it. Language, gender, interests, experience with the support you need, when they are free, whether they drive.
Sometimes the closest match is not a perfect one. When that happens we show you what we could match, you decide whether to book, and you can always say no. The app says the same thing, in the same words.
Who turns up
Training and screening come before the first booking, not after it.
See training and vetting in full →Both, in one booking
The part you would otherwise arrange twice
A trained Support Partner picks you up, comes with you, and gets you home. One booking, one person and one invoice, instead of two providers.
Why this is the hard one to get
A rideshare app gets you there.
Then it drives off. Nobody is coming to the appointment with you.
A support worker platform sends someone.
Then you both work out how to get anywhere.
Zoomly does both, in one flow.
Same person, door to door, booked once.
What a combined booking looks like
9:15am, your door
Your Support Partner arrives, helps you out, and you are on the way.
10:00am, the thing you are doing
They come in with you and stay for the appointment, the class, or the shop.
11:30am, home again
Same person, same booking, same invoice.
Where people use it
- A medical appointment
- A class or a course
- A wedding or a funeral
- Coffee with a mate
- The first day of a new job
- The weekly shop
Coffee with a mate counts as much as the physio. We do not rank where you are going.
The appointment, the class, the gym, or just getting the week to run.
The Zoomly Van
A Hyundai Staria, fitted out as a wheelchair accessible vehicle, carrying two people in wheelchairs at the same time.
Most accessible transport can take one wheelchair, which is fine right up until you and a mate want to go to the same place. The Zoomly Van takes two, with a driver signed off on its restraint system.
The Van is a separate booking to the seven supports in the app. Today it runs for community work and events. Booking it directly, the way you would hire any vehicle, is coming next.
What you can book it for
- Individual bookings
- Group outings
- Day programs
- Community organisations
- Events
Hiring the Zoomly Van
Booking the Zoomly Van directly is coming to the app. Get it now and it will be there the day it goes live.
Zoomly lives in your pocket
Book a ride, book a Support Partner, or book both. See who is free right now, watch them on the way, and rebook the good ones with one tap.
